We made a trip down to Buffalo over the weekend, and what is a Buffalo trip without stopping at The Cheesecake Factory?
Strawberry lemonade (made with real strawberries!)
Steak Diane with steak butter (!)
Ultimate Red Velvet Cake Cheesecake
God, I had a phenomenal dinner there. You'd think The Cheesecake Factory would only be good for their cheesecakes, but every single dish I've ever eaten there was ridiculously good. And, Ben showed me the key to a more delicious steak: Steak butter! Oh, the fat! Oh, the deliciousness! That having been said, however, their cheesecake is still the best I've ever had. We were so full, but we were determined to get cheesecake. You can't go to The Cheesecake Factory and not get cheesecake. It's just not right. So, I decided upon the Red Velvet, which was fantastic (and, oh god, just so fattening with every cream cheese filled bite)... but the banana cream cheesecake I had last time was slightly better, because it was just bursting with delightful banana flavour in every bite, whereas I felt the red velvet cake aspect of this one could have been more pronounced. I'm just being picky, though; delightful cheesecake is delightful. Now, if only they'd bring it to Canada...
HOLY SHIT I am so jealous! I love the Cheesecake Factory sooooo much!!!
ReplyDeleteThat cheesecake looks phenomenal.
Also, is that raspberry lemonade? If so, they're my faves!
ReplyDeleteHaha, hey, Sydney! There are like, 80 cheesecake flavours that I still need to try. IT IS MY GOAL.
ReplyDeleteIt's strawberry lemonade -- the waitress recommended it, and it was PHENOMENAL. I could drink that all day, every day. Except then I'd have diabetes. :(
Oh man, this looks freakin' delicious!!! But can I ask how long you waited?
ReplyDeleteThe last two times we've been, we ended up at TGIFridays and Olive Garden which were still like 45min-1hr wait! The Cheesecake Factory was ridiculous, though. Ppl linked up outside and were sitting on the floor, as if we're all waiting for some rock concert.
PS: A friend just txt'd me that Marble Slab Creamery now has Red Velvet ice cream!! Nom nom nom.
Hey, Lindsay! Surprisingly, we only had to wait 10 minutes, which is really odd for a Saturday night. The last few times I've been there, it's been a minimum 30 minute wait!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, Marble Slab... I haven't gone in a while since Cold Stone opened really close to me (right at Hwy 7 and McCowan!)... But I may have to go there for that Red Velvet ice cream...
It is a little weird how ridiculously good their food is given the name. I have to be rolled out whenever we go there - the portions are also hugemongous!
ReplyDeleteCheesecake Factory! I love their food. I ate there once in their Bellevue branch two weeks ago (can't believe it's already two weeks). I had the original cheesecake and Baja Chicken Tacos. *DROOOL*
