Okay, so I have a new food obsession. And it's only $2.30 after tax. Tim Hortons recently introduced three new specialty bagels, one of which is the Sundried Tomato Asiago Parmesan. It is absolutely glorious. I get mine toasted and buttered with slices of cheddar cheese (there is no such thing as "too much cheese" in my world), and it's so good that one is often not enough. It's not exactly the prettiest thing to look at (it looks ever so slightly like burnt skin...), but who cares when each and every one of your tastebuds is having simultaneous orgasms (that's 10,000 orgasms!)? Yup. Since it came out a few weeks ago, I have literally eaten at least one every other day. Hell, I had to wake up at 6:30 this morning to go to a ridiculously early staff meeting (on a Saturday!), but this bagel made everything okay (at least for the three minutes it took for me to eat it). I sincerely hope they make this a permanent flavour to their bagel line-up, 'cause I mean, even blueberry bagels are permanent, and who the hell eats blueberry bagels?
Mmm, I've been wanting to try this ever since the commercials! I usually get the cheddar bagel with cream cheese.. soo good. Looks like I'll be swapping flavours. :)

ReplyDeleteMmmm, this looks DELICIOUS! My coworker told me about the Cinnamon Toast bagel but I didn't realize they had THREE new ones! Very unfortunate that we have two Timmies in our office complex and 2 more down the street. They may need bigger doors for me.
ReplyDeleteOh, Lindsay, Tim Hortons has become such a dangerous place... :( I heard the Cinnamon Toast bagel was great, too. But I prefer savoury over sweet, so the Sundried Tomato one will always have my heart! :P
ReplyDeleteI didn't know Timmy's offered slices of cheese with their bagels! I'm definitely going for this soon! Although your burnt skin comparison is permanently stuck in my mind now. Ew.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I love blueberry bagels. I am one of the consumers keeping those babies on the menu at Timmy's! Sorry but they're just so good toasted with plain or strawberry cream cheese.
OMG, cheese on bagels at Timmy's has been a staple of mine for years! Anything you can get in a sandwich, you can get on a bagel, lol. It's AWESOME. Perhaps I should ask for bacon next time...
ReplyDeleteHaha, wow, I don't think I've ever known anyone to order blueberry bagels when there are so many other delightful options. :P To be fair, I don't like strawberry cream cheese, either. I think my mom is the only other person I know who likes it, lol.
