Bobbette & Belle @ McEwan

Shawn and I spent a portion of the afternoon walking around the Shops at Don Mills, and we decided to check out the daily offerings at McEwan. We didn't end up buying much as everything is ridiculously overpriced, but I did end up getting a box of Bobbette & Belle's French macarons. Their flavours of the day were cassis, mango, and pistachio, all of which were really quite good, and quite a bit better than the ones I got from Pusateri's. None of them tasted artificial, which I've found is quite common, especially among fruit flavours, and I liked that they weren't overly sweet. The outer meringue cookie was the perfect texture, not too chewy and not too crispy, and there was a generous amount of filling but not overwhelmingly so. My favourite was probably the pistachio, but I would buy all three flavours again.

  1. Are these made by Bobbette & Belle? Or are they made by McEwan?

  2. Hey, Sydney! ;) I believe they are made by Bobbette & Belle... There was no sign in the store and the lady serving us didn't say anything, but from everything I've read, McEwan gets their macarons from B&B. :)
