MAC & Marcel Wanders

Edward and I did some shopping at Yorkdale this evening, and he ended up buying me two lipsticks from the MAC & Marcel Wanders collaboration collection for Christmas! I got Gesina, an opaque bright pink-based red, and Digna, which is a semi-opaque blackened berry red. They're both cream finishes and they seem be creamier and go on more smoothly than regular MAC lipsticks. All the lipsticks in this collection are exclusive to MAC stores (not at The Bay locations) and limited edition. They're $26 a pop but they also contain more product, so they end up being proportional in price to permanent MAC lipsticks.

The only negative thing about this collection is that all the shades are easily dupeable, so the special packaging (which remind me of pawn chess pieces) and creamier formula would be the main reasons to get these lipsticks. Even still, the shades themselves are gorgeous. The other two lipstick shades in the collection are Catharina (bright medium fuchsia pink) and Martha (peachy nude with soft champagne shimmer), which are both also really nice, though Martha was sold out at the Yorkdale location. I'm considering picking them up next week, though, if they're not completely sold out.
