We obviously have to get the Japanese noodle trifecta while we're in Japan, so today's lunch: soba!

Shrimp tempura soba set meal

We found a soba restaurant called Sojibo, where I got the shrimp tempura soba set meal, which also comes with a bowl of takikomi gohan on the side. The soba noodles are pretty standard, but it's satisfying and filling and the set is an incredible value at ¥1140. (I guess a lot of the office workers nearby agree 'cause it was a full house by 1:00PM.) Anyway, that's soba checked off the noodle list, and now we have udon left. Let the journey continue!
