Dining Out: Belated Birthday Korean BBQ at Daldongnae

Birthday week continues as my friend Iris took me out for dinner tonight at my favourite Korean BBQ spot, Daldongnae:

After a feast of all of our Korean BBQ favourites, Iris surprised me with a little BTS Jimin birthday cake by Mommy Liu Bakes, who is famous for their character cakes but especially of BTS. Since Jimin is a bias of mine (alongside Jungkook), Iris had asked me what my favourite photo of him was, so I sent her one that was captured at the Golden Disc Awards in 2019 (similar to this one), not knowing that it would be drawn onto a cake a few weeks later. Aside from the amazing Jimin decoration on top, the cake itself is a delightfully airy, delectably dreamy vanilla cream chiffon cake with actual Ferrero Rocher pieces inside.
