"For this album, I've filled it with songs that evoke a sense of fleeting tranquility, as if they effortlessly pass by and offer a soothing pause."
All the songs from Layover shine even more with a live band, and what I love about these tracks is that they all give the instruments a proper tribute, especially in "Slow Dancing," which has a full minute instrumental. The live saxophone is particularly gorgeous here and really highlights the jazz elements of these tracks. The backing vocalists are also incredible, and kudos to them for actually singing the Korean parts as well. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun, too, like this stage was a true collaboration of creativity. This is, hands down, my favourite live performance yet out of V's Layover promotions so far.
