There are no birthday cup sleeve events for Jin this weekend (there's one next week and one the week after, but none for his actual birthday weekend for some reason), so Ying and I decided to stop by Amadeus Patisserie while we were at the mall today to pick up some desserts in celebration. She decided on a few different cakes, but as I have a blood test next week and need to be watching my sugar intake, I decided to go with a box of macarons instead. (I am not someone who can just eat half a slice of cake and save the rest for later.) I probably should've forgone getting dessert altogether, but it's Jin's birthday and whoever heard of celebrating a birthday without dessert?
