Met up with Chelsea for an early dinner this evening after my stress test at the cardiologist (where I learned just how unfit I really am — seriously, I barely made it to the end). I haven't seen her since my birthday, so we decided this would be our belated Christmas/New Year's meet-up. (She starts work at a hospital next week so I don't know when I'll see her next.) Naturally, she wanted Asian food because she is so deprived of it now. Thus, my first non-McDonald's take out of the year: Carbonara pork katsu from Katsuya and tteokbokki from Owl of Minerva to share. It was probably my entire day's calories, and I should probably eat healthier going forward given my high blood pressure and diabetes... but I cannot deny just how glorious it was. Sigh. Back to tomato sandwiches tomorrow.
