Went to Walmart to get some groceries and household items, and headed over to the cosmetics department to see if they had a good hydrating serum for a reasonable price since I'm running out of my current night serum (which I quite like, actually; I just want to try something new).
COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence
Nature Republic Bee Venom Toner and Bee Venom Emulsion
It's been really handy to have the Walmarts around here carry Korean beauty brands so I don't always have to go around searching for them at Asian beauty stores or rely on finding them online and having to pay for shipping. The brands carried at Sephora are generally too expensive, and I find that non-prestige Korean brands work really well — if not better — for me. After looking at several different options, I decided to go for COSRX's Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence for this winter since I trust the brand (I'm currently using three of their products and have been very pleased with them) and it has excellent online reviews.

But as I continued perusing the Korean beauty section, I noticed that there were a ton of products on clearance including Nature Republic's Bee Venom series, which I love — it's excellent for unclogging pores, breaking down buildup, soothing the skin, and moisturizing sensitive skin. So I bought a bottle of the Bee Venom Toner as well as the Bee Venom Emulsion — both on sale for $14.99 each from $29.98! I figured this would make up for the Black Friday shopping that I didn't do this year.
