Makeup and Beauty Blog: Monday Poll, Vol. 614

This week's Monday Poll:

1. What kind of stuff do you like to binge watch? Currently, it's DT Parker's BTS reactions and Yuka Kinoshita's mukbangs. I go through different phases, though. Last week, it was Freaky Eaters and Barcroft TV's Hooked on the Look. I regularly go back to Good Mythical Morning and Patriot Act. I did binge watch the first four episodes of Itaewon Class (which has been excellent) and finished episodes 5 and 6 yesterday, but now I have to wait for new episodes every week.
   
   
2. Rain or snow? Rain. I love the sound of it, the smell of it. Plus, free car washes. Snow's pretty when you watch it inside, but it is a fucking nightmare to drive through.
   
   
3. What's your favourite eyeshadow brush? To use on others, I'd say the MAC 224. You can use it for everything from eyeshadow to concealer to highlighter, and for powders, creams, and liquids. I like the 217, but the 224 blends out more because it's fluffier and has longer hairs. When I worked at MAC, I would keep at least six 224s in my brush belt. It's just super-versatile. To use on myself, I have three brushes that I use regularly if I'm wearing eyeshadow: Hakuhodo J5522, Sigma E35, and MAC 217. If I had to pick one, it'd probably be the Sigma E35, which is similar to the MAC 224, but it's softer and slightly more domed.
   
   
4. Favourite nail polish? Cirque Colors' Rhapsody in Blue. It has smooth application, good opacity, and relatively fast drying time, but most importantly, it is the perfect cobalt blue. It's one of my favourite colours in general, which is why I was drawn to it to begin with, but I never get as many compliments on my nails as when I wear this.
   
   
5. Have you ever locked your keys in your car? Yes, once, about 13 years ago. I was driving my dad's old company minivan. Without paying attention, I had manually locked all doors from the inside panel and shut the door before realizing my keys were on the drivers' seat. It was late at night, and I was with my boyfriend at the time with a couple of our friends. Had to wait an hour for CAA. So embarrassing.
