Okay, BTS' performance last year at the 2018 MMA was so goddamn epic that everybody was questioning how they were ever going to top that. (It was so epic that Jimin was even presented with a plaque for his fan dance during that performance. Seriously. They are literally Korea's national pride.) And then they did this at yesterday's 2019 MMA, and was like, "THIS IS HOW."
They also collected a total of eight awards last night, including a clean sweep of all four Daesang (Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Artist of the Year), beating their own record of winning seven awards last year. And let me tell you, this performance embodied the very reasons why BTS deserves every single one of those awards, and also why no one can beat BTS at this pop music game right now.
