Okay, so ARMYs have speculated for a while that there would be a J-Hope and Becky G collab — first, their meeting at the BBMAs in May (further speculation after seeing this BTS Episode, wherein J-Hope is shown introducing Becky G to RM), then Hobi flying out to LA on his own last month, to J-hope's cryptic comment on this post on Weverse — but after seeing this tweet with the hashtag #CNS, ARMYs started theorizing what it might stand for. Jokingly, ARMY guessed "Chicken Noodle Soup" and even got it trending on Twitter. But no one really thought it could be real. But then these tweets happened, and we were like, "SERIOUSLY? IT'S REALLY 'CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP'?!" And then BigHit finally made the announcement, officially confirming it, and stating that the song is based on the original "Chicken Noodle Soup" that came out 13 years ago.
So, yeah. "Chicken Noodle Soup." It was officially released ten minutes ago on all music streaming platforms, along with the music video on YouTube and Weverse. (Yes, it's ten minutes past 5:00 AM here. I am still up. I become nocturnal during vacation, okay?) And you know what? This song is a freaking bop. No, seriously. I can't stop listening to it. (Also J-Hope is looking fucking fine and fierce in this video. This is the reason he's the dance leader of BTS, y'all.) There's definitely going to be a Chicken Noodle Soup Dance Challenge, and it's definitely gonna go viral. Especially with BTS officially joining TikTok yesterday? THE TIMING IS TOO COINCIDENTAL.
