WE WON, WE WON, WE WON!!!

Tonight will go down in history as the first time ever that the Raptors — the only Canadian basketball team in the NBA — not only made it to the Finals, but won the championship. It is also the first time in the 21st century that a Toronto team has won a sports championship. I've never seen the country come together and cheer for a professional sports league team like this before.

Canada is celebrating big tonight. #WeTheNorth

  1. When the Raptors won four straight against the Bucks in the conference finals after being down 0 - 2 I knew they'd win the championship.

I was on my way to work and there were so many Fear The Deer billboards and pictures of Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packer quarterback and Bucks co-owner) at basketball games with Danica Patrick that it finally dawned on me.

    Congrats!

    1. Haha, thanks girl! There was a Raptors parade downtown today to celebrate our championship win. Over a million people showed up, including our prime minister. It was mayhem.
