BTS Love Yourself: Speak Yourself Tour Merch

I had already pre-ordered a bunch of the BTS official tour merch for the Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour (these four short-sleeved tees and another black hoodie) from BigHit last month to secure all my first choice items so I wouldn't have to worry about trying to get them at the actual concerts. (The disappointment is crippling when you've lined up for hours and everything you wanted is sold out. When you're an ARMY, you gotta snatch up those goods fast. There's no time for hesitation, because the most coveted items will be sold out within the first hour of release. The great thing about BigHit doing the online pre-order is that I didn't have to wake up at the ass crack of dawn just to get to the stadium to line up for merch. And in case you think that's nuts, ARMYs are nuts.) So this past weekend, I was debating whether or not I should even bother checking out the merch booths because there wasn't a whole lot more I wanted to buy. But being the diligent, merch-loving ARMY that I am, I wanted to see what they had in person just in case I missed something online. (The FOMO is real, you know.)

So we stopped by one of the merch booths after the first concert. BigHit decided to re-open all merch booths after the concerts, which they didn't do on their last tour. I can only assume it's because these shows are about four times bigger than the last tour, and they knew the line-ups for merch would be pandemonium. (It was also smart that they decided to have merch booths at every gate as well as two in different parking lots to increase efficiency. I mean, there were 60,000 people attending each show, and that's a lot of merch to sell.) We still had to line up for about 45 minutes, but it wasn't nearly as bad as it would've been going before the concerts, which would've seen at least three- to four- hour line-ups. As expected, all the really coveted pieces were already sold out early on in the day... but I still picked up two more hoodies (this one and this one). 'Cause at this point, I will just throw my money at BTS.
