CONGRATS TO BTS FOR WINNING DAESANG AT THE 28th SEOUL MUSIC AWARDS!

RM: First, to present us twice with a Daesang that is hard to receive even once, I would like to sincerely thank ARMYs worldwide. Though you may not believe it, we, BTS, are also your fans. What I mean by that is, whichever way you take the stories that we share with you, the energy, the voices, gives us inspiration for our work, boosts the energy of our performances. And so, these performances, this music, birthed by the great inspiration and soul that you have given us — everyone, I would like it if you knew for sure that you are a part of this album, this performance — and so, we are your fans.

Honestly, you feel a bit restless at the end and beginning of the year, right? Kinda needlessly wondering again, "Am I living well right now?", "Am I doing well right now?", and thinking you need to reflect back on yourself and try making resolutions you'll quickly forget. I, too, thought a lot of things passing through many award ceremonies, but in the end, the conclusion is simply, "Let's work hard on things we've always done. Let's do well on things we've always done." And so, I looked though our debut era videos, reflecting, "Why did we work so hard? Why did we begin this? Why did seven people say that they'd do this, gathering together with BigHit, and establish BTS" But in the end, it's simply music, performances, and all of you. That was all.

So, the performances, the music, that we have shown you until now; the performances, the music that we will show you in the future — please know that these things are the fan letters we send you as your fans, and please read the sound of the fan letters. We and you are each other's fans, and will be each other's idols. We will work hard. We love you.

JUNGKOOK: I want to convey my thanks first and foremost to our leader Namjoonie, who spoke brilliantly just then. For without Rapmonie hyung, I would not have been in BTS, so I want to say my thanks to him first. Receiving the Daesang like this, and the Best Album award just before, and as we live, we think over small things, act and execute things according to it… But all of that, without you, not only would we be unable to think such happy things, we wouldn't have been able to do a lot of things, living out our life.

And so, for allowing us to know such a life, I thank you so much. And since we have debuted as BTS, all of you have communicated with us, co-existed with us, and in our hearts is all ARMYs, and in your hearts, us. As a result, we will always be together and will continue to be happy steadily into the future. Ah, seriously, we worked so hard today, and I feel so proud — I really love you and thank you. ARMY, I love you!

JIMIN: First, thank you so much. Before, Ryu Seung Ryeong sunbaenim said here that when we come up on this stage, we always call out to the fans, and as I seriously mulled over that, I think it came to me that it can only be this way because you all listen to our music, watch our performances, and you become our reason. And so we, of course, must speak about you. To you, who are such people, we want to work harder to make you happy. Thank you so much for this award, and I love you.

TAE: ARMYs, I have taken photos for about five years, right? When I take those photos, all the photos within that camera, have been made by ARMYs. Those remembered moments, those traces, those memories, those have all been made by ARMYs, and because of that, now, in 2019, I have prepared a present. It will come out soon. I would like you to anticipate it a lot. I worked really hard on it, so please await it a lot. Thank you!
