Makeup and Beauty Blog: Monday Poll, Vol. 541

This week's Monday Poll:

1. Last thing you bought for yourself? Five nail polishes from ILNP's Real Magic Flakies collection, which are all holographic glitter flake toppers. (In case you're wondering, I chose Wonderland, Imagine That, Spaced Out, Looking Glass, and Lovebird.) I hadn't bought new nail polish this year because I threw out an entire garbage bag full in March, but I was getting bored of the ones I kept, so I bought these ones because they're the prettiest ones I've seen in ages and also because I can wear them in conjunction with other colours.
   
   
2. Your top 5 movies of all time? Amélie, Drive, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, and Requiem for a Dream.
   
   
3. Speaking of movies, how do you feel about movies with ambiguous endings? It obviously largely depends on the rest of the movie, but lot of my favourite movies have ambiguous endings, like Drive, Donnie Darko, Fight Club, Memento, Black Swan, Lost in Translation, Inception, etc. It ends up making the movie as a whole more powerful. I don't necessarily prefer movies with ambiguous endings because I usually want closure in a story, but when it's done right, it can make the movie a masterpiece.
   
   
4. Pointy or round-toe shoes? Round-toe.
   
   
5. Eyeliner? Always. They don't call me "eyeliner queen" for nothing.
