Up next was "DNA." It was only fitting that they wore the most colourful costumes of the night during this portion. Jimin's sweater was so sparkly, you could literally see it glittering in the dark.
That was followed by what I thought was the most fun part of the night: the medley. They've started doing medleys on their tours to incorporate older fan favourite songs that they don't have time to play the full versions of in their set. It's the Love Yourself tour right now, so they're focusing mainly on the songs from the Love Yourself era, and as a result, a lot of songs that fans have loved for years are no longer in rotation. Thus, the medleys. On this tour, they've combined "Boyz with Fun," "Attack on Bangtan," "Fire," "Baepsae," and "Dope." Arguably, it's five of their most hyped up songs. It's just pure energy. The crowd went fucking nuts. They went back to the main stage where a chair and retro-style microphone stand were waiting for them to perform "Airplane, Pt. 2." Another VCR played, featuring V, with a much darker tone than previous VCRs, denoting a change in theme and atmosphere. Which made sense, since the next song was V's solo, "Singularity." This set the mood for the subsequent song, "FAKE LOVE," where the boys had changed into all-black outfits with leather harnesses.
