BTS Love Yourself: Answer Comeback Stage at M Countdown: IDOL

After BigHit stated last month that there would be no promotions for Love Yourself: Answer due to their touring schedule, BTS ultimately decided to give up their rest week before heading off to North America to perform on select Korean music shows and attend the Soribada Awards because they wanted to give more to the fans (they won't be heading back to South Korea until late November — after they tour North America, they head straight to Europe and then Japan). And it kinda breaks my heart because these boys really do not rest. Even their "vacations" like Bon Voyage or Summer Package are for promotional work, and they are consistently being filmed or interviewed. I sincerely hope they get some sort of break because this world tour is going to be incredibly grueling and their health is more important than anything else. So it's only fair that we give their performances on these music shows all of our love and support because they really, really didn't need to do them. Their latest album and its title track, "IDOL," have been breaking records since their release last Friday, and this kind of promotion was completely unnecessary. That having been said, it still amazes me how their choreography only gets more and more challenging and they somehow conquer it while singing completely live. No one these days can compete with BTS in showmanship and integrity.
