It's crazy that as much of a Thursday fan as I am, I didn't know about Geoff Rickly's other band, No Devotion, until this week. The band formed in the wake of Lostprophets' dissolution and during Thursday's five-year break-up — No Devotion consists of the remaining members of Lostprophets and Geoff Rickly as the lead singer. Their music is totally different from the music that both Thursday and Lostprophets were known for; it has this dark wave, post-punk-meets-Joy-Division vibe to it, and I'm kinda in love with it.
(Side note: I'm not a Lostprophets fan and actually don't know any of their songs besides their 2004 hit, "Last Train Home," but how did I not know that their lead singer is a pedophile and convicted sex offender?!)
