This week's Monday Poll:
- I hate to shop for... Footwear. Don't get me wrong, I love shoes. But I hate actually shopping for them, and I can never buy them without trying them on first regardless of the type of footwear (aside from, say, flip flops). I have a minor bunion on my left foot, so when I try on shoes, my right foot will be like, "Yes, this fits perfectly!" and then my left foot will be like, "Take this off immediately!" Also, I have large calves, so finding knee-length boots is an epic struggle.
- I love to shop for... Cosmetics, obviously. I would say 75% of my purchases are cosmetic-related. Also, food, books, handbags, and outerwear.
- You have three minutes to freshen up your makeup, so what do you do? Blot my nose (I like Boscia's Blotting Linens), dust some oil-absorbing powder (I use MAC's Blot Powder Pressed in Medium Dark) on my T-zone, mist MAC's Fix+ all over my face, and re-apply lipstick and/or gloss.
- What's the oldest thing in your closet that you still wear all the time? A black Wilfred Chevalier jacket from Aritzia. The first one I bought was in 2009, I think. I bought another one a couple years ago to rotate in my wardrobe because I wear it so frequently. It just looks good with everything; you can dress it up or down, and you always look polished.
- What are some things you'd like to do more of in 2015? Exercise. I know I say that every year, but it's become more important that I try now that I'm nearing 30 (and because I'm a smoker). I would also like to travel more. I go to NYC every year, but I wanna do another destination as well. I'm thinking maybe California later in the year.
My feet are slightly uneven as well. Almost as bad is the fact that the heels are super narrow while the front of the feet are wide. I'm 7.5 but really 7 in length and 8 by width at the front and like 6 in the back. @____@
ReplyDeleteLMAO. Why do our feet hate us?
