RiRi Woo is a medium-dark vibrant blue-toned cherry red. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a creamy texture, and it goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation with opaque colour pay-off. It is similar though less blue-toned than its lipstick counterpart. It is similar but slightly less bright than Russian Red, lighter and much cooler than Viva Glam I, and similar but less shimmery than Driven by Love Pro Longwear Lipglass.
Like Viva Glam I Lipglass, the formula on this is fantastic: it's incredibly pigmented and just applies beautifully — no streaks, no patches, no seeping into lip lines. And it adds incredible dimension and richness when worn on top of RiRi Woo lipstick. I've personally found that it's not as sticky as many of the other Lipglass shades so it's more comfortable to wear, and I get a good four hours of wear-time with it alone. This is a great option for those who like the colour of RiRi Woo but don't like the extremely dry texture of Retro Mattes.
woah look at that color! i'm really going for these shades lately and sort of gave a pass to the riri line..might have to pop into a MAC tomorrow to reconsider.

A Beautiful Zen
It really is a gorgeous shade, perfect for fall and winter! If they're sold out of this one, check out Russian Red Lipglass as well as Viva Glam I, which is a deeper crimson shade (and my personal favourite). :)
DeleteI can stare at that swatch all day. :)))
ReplyDeleteIt does look rather juicy, doesn't it? :)
