Friday Five: Inventions

This week's Friday Five:
  1. If they could invent a remote control for something in your house that doesn't have one, what would you wish it to be? All of the lighting in the house. And also the thermostat. And my coffee maker. What? I'm lazy, okay?
  2. What could your car really use that they just haven't invented yet? Maybe a massage seat, except that could get really dangerous.
  3. Who among your friends could probably be a great inventor if he or she had enough funding to do it? Probably my brother. He has the intelligence and the ambition to do it (and it doesn't hurt that he majored in Electrical & Computer Engineering).
  4. What invention seems to do its job in a less-satisfying manner than the old-fashioned way? E-readers. I absolutely loathe them. There is something so satisfying in turning paper pages, feeling them, smelling them. Books are just so much prettier, too.
  5. Lately, vending machines have gone beyond drinks and snacks: you can rent DVDs from them or even purchase iPods from them. What’s something your life could be improved by if it were available in vending machines? Cigarettes. What? I'm just sayin'. They have them in Japan.

  1. A nail blogger somewhere posted a pic of nail polish vending machine in Europe. Now THAT would be handy!

I'm still waiting for an i-slave that would make my coffee and clean my makeup brushes all at the same time. :)

  2. DO YOU KNOW HOW DANGEROUS A NAIL POLISH VENDING MACHINE WOULD BE? OH GOD.

Lol, an i-slave for cleaning make-up brushes would be so damn handy. I would definitely get one.
