Singin' In The Rain + Umbrella

Gwyneth Paltrow was great on Glee this week. Who knew she could sing? I actually really enjoyed this mash-up ("Singin' in the Rain" and Rihanna's "Umbrella" - Gwyneth's voice is infinitely less annoying than Rihanna's), and thought they did a fantastic job, even though it is kind of unbelievable that a school with budget problems can afford background rain for their dance routine...

Speaking of mash-ups, last week's episode of Glee had a couple of fantastic ones as well, with the girls performing one (The Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up" and Bon Jovi's "Livin' on a Prayer") and the guys performing another (The Supremes' "Stop! In the Name of Love" and En Vogue's "Free Your Mind"). The mash-ups on Glee are always so much better than their straight covers. Though I did like the a cappella cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" in last week's episode. It actually made the song enjoyable rather than just bearable. Yes, I am a big dork.
