Took my friend Shannon out for an early birthday dinner at Grazie this evening. We decided to share a bunch of dishes to have more variety, so we ordered our favourite baked goat cheese salad (it's goat cheese, roasted red peppers, and grilled eggplant wrapped in phyllo dough and baked to a crispy delight), the fried calamari (a staple), and the Stefania pizza (creamy porcini sauce, mushrooms, fresh herbs prosciutto, arugula, and parmigiano). The service could have been a little more attentive but it's otherwise very friendly and accommodating. Grazie is always a reliably consistent option for delicious, authentic Italian food. There's always a wait for a table, but it's my go-to restaurant when I'm in the Vaughan area.
