MAC Dazzlesphere!: Coral Lip Ornament

MAC released their second holiday launch today, called Dazzlesphere!, which features lip gloss and pigment stack sets in sphere-shaped "ornaments." Each set includes four shades, with the lip sets featuring two shades of Cremesheen Glass and two shades of Dazzleglass. Each tube of Cremesheen Glass contains 1.9 grams of product (a regular full-size Cremesheen Glass contains 2.4 grams), and each tube of Dazzleglass contains 2.6 grams of product (a regular full-size Dazzleglass contains 1.92 grams), making each lip gloss set worth $94.44. Cremesheen Glass is a sheer to semi-sheer, non-sticky formula with minimal shimmer with a doe-foot applicator. Dazzleglass is a sheer to semi-sheer, semi-sticky formula with intense shimmer and glitter with a brush applicator. Both formulas are taste-free but are vanilla-scented. Each gloss is housed in special edition glossy white packaging, and each ornament retails for $38.50.

Eurobeat, On The Scene, Phiff!, and Richer, Lusher

Eurobeat, On The Scene, Phiff!, and Richer, Lusher

Eurobeat is a semi-sheer, bright mandarin orange base with gold glitter. It is a Dazzleglass, and is a re-promoted shade. It is brighter and darker than Smile.

On The Scene is a semi-sheer, peachy beige. It is a Cremesheen Glass, and is a re-promoted shade. It is less milky and more peach than Fashion Whim.

Phiff! is a sheer, slightly peach clear base with gold glitter. It is a Dazzleglass, and is a re-promoted shade. It's like a more sheer version of Moth To Flame.

Richer, Lusher is a semi-sheer, peach-coral. It is a Cremesheen Glass, and is a permanent shade.

These lip gloss ornaments are a phenomenal deal. If you like either the Cremesheen Glass or Dazzleglass formulas, these are worth checking out. The sheerer formulas make these sets ideal gifts because they can flatter so many people. They're fantastic for layering or wearing on their own. This set actually contains the least permanent shades (only one!), so it's especially worth getting if there is a shade here from a previous release that you missed, or if there is a colour you loved that was discontinued (I am so excited that On The Scene is re-promoted here!). Whether you're trying to find a gift for a gloss-lover, getting a replacement tube of your Cremesheen Glass or Dazzleglass, or you want to try out either of these formulas, or you like even two of the shades, snatch this set up.

  2. Yeah, you totally should! MAC upped their game with these sets this year; all previous years were these tiny little tubes of Lipglass, so it's good that they changed it up with the formula and the sizing. Totally worth the price, especially since one regular tube is usually $22!
