I'm convinced this would look good on dark skintones (like, say, NC45-ish), though would start to look ashy on deep dark skintones (like an NW43). MAC's Desert Rose and Dollymix look AMAZING on dark skintones, and it has about the same colour brightness/darkness as Coral Glow...

Still think you should try it on your cheeks. :PDenisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17089607558566007598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549555923267724867.post-4277673664384242992013-05-07T19:37:49.187-04:002013-05-07T19:37:49.187-04:00I got totally maniacal about this and wanted it so...I got totally maniacal about this and wanted it soo badly, and it happened to be in Shoppers really soon after it was released (aka actually on time) so I checked them both out, BUT I found on my skintone they went a bit powdery and ashy, so maybe NOT ideal for darker skintones. I was surprized to tell the truth, but relieved because that means one less thing to take all my money! :P Still, yay that you got it and love it Denise!Toyarosiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14545700669195596269noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549555923267724867.post-16087754623658202562013-05-02T01:15:41.141-04:002013-05-02T01:15:41.141-04:00Lol, maybe because you had such high expectations ...Lol, maybe because you had such high expectations for it, it didn't wow you as much in person. When I first saw it, I hadn't seen any swatches or anything online yet, so I didn't have expectations at all. I don't have any regrets for getting this product, and I think it's really gorgeous. I think the size is actually pretty good, too -- most powder compacts like this are around 10 grams, so pretty standard. It does help that I got a discount, of course, but I think I actually would've paid full price for this, lol.Denisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17089607558566007598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-549555923267724867.post-24286273414493328312013-05-01T22:33:05.355-04:002013-05-01T22:33:05.355-04:00I saw this today but it didn't catch my attent...I saw this today but it didn't catch my attention for longer than 5 seconds. Crazy! I think it looks amazing on all the blogs and my expectation for it was at an unrealistic level. It looked smaller and more plain than I thought it would. No doubt it feels fabulous, but I'm really glad that this thing wasn't crying my name. *phew*Liz (Beauty Reductionista)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12248806073054637457noreply@blogger.com
