Today, MAC will be launching their collaboration collection with makeup artist, social media influencer, and YouTuber, PatrickStarrr. It includes a total of 12 products, of which nine are new and limited edition, and three are permanent in special edition packaging. The PatrickStarrr collection sees the launch of three new and limited edition lipsticks. The lipsticks are housed in glossy white tubes with silver trim and PatrickStarrr's logo in holographic silver across the tube. The lipsticks come in matching pixellated holographic silver boxes with PatrickStarrr's logo in black. Each lipstick contains 3 grams of product, and retails for $22. Due to their special edition packaging, these are not redeemable as a free product in the Back to MAC recycling program.

She Betta Werrrk is a light-medium neutral-warm muted pink in a Matte finish. This is a permanent shade. It has a soft, creamy texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It is lighter and warmer than Pink Plaid, more matte than Creme Cup, and more pink than Viva Glam II.
Mamastarrr is a medium-dark warm peachy-pink brown in a Matte finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, creamy texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It is more peach than Whirl, more pink than Taupe, and darker and more brown than Velvet Teddy.
Patrick Woo is a medium warm vibrant red in a Matte finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, creamy texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is warmer and creamier than Ruby Woo, cooler than Red Rock, and lighter than Russian Red.

It seems that the PatrickStarrr collection as a whole is a play on best-selling shades by MAC, which makes sense since a lot of business is driven by social media influence these days. Each of these lipsticks are slightly different from their permanent dupes, but are all the types of shades that are wildly popular and timeless; they're shades that people have been going to MAC for for years. All three shades, which are really different from one another, are actually widely flattering on all skintones from light to dark. I think Patrick made a really good call with the shade choices for his collection to be inclusive of everybody, and I think that's why a lot of his makeup looks and YouTube tutorials are so popular. That having been said, I don't think any of these shades are really must-haves just because there are so many dupes out there, but I do think all three shades will sell out fast. Check your stash for similar shades first, but if you're interested in any of these, I would snatch them up ASAP.
