Last week, Becca released a limited edition highlighter palette in collaboration with model, actress, cookbook author, and TV show host, Chrissy Teigen. The Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette is described as " a gorgeous face palette full of warm, lush, sultry shades of highlighter, blush, and bronzer — all hand-picked by Chrissy herself. Each shade in this limited-edition palette features Becca's iconic, one-of-a-kind formula that blends pigments with liquids to impart an unparalleled, creamy feel that applies like seamless silk and never cakes." It is packaged in a rectangular rose gold compact with a peach and yellow marbled lid featuring Becca's logo and Chrissy's signature in rose gold, with a mirror spanning the entire inside of the lid. Each Glow Face Palette contains a total of 15 grams of product (5.1 g per highlighter, and 2.4 g per blush/bronzer), and retails for $54 CAD. It is available online and in store at Sephora and online at Becca.

Beach Nectar is a light-medium warm gilded peach with champagne shimmer in a metallic pearlized finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, finely-milled, almost buttery texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It is lighter and more gold than Becca Rose Gold, darker and more peach than Becca Prosecco Pop, darker and more peach than MAC Soft and Gentle, more peach than MAC Beaming Blush, darker and more peach than Jeffree Star Peach Goddess, darker than Anastasia Beverly Hills Glo Getter (Nicole Guerriero).

Malibu Soleil is a medium-dark warm golden brown in a satin finish. This is a new and limited edition shade. It has a soft, finely-milled, almost buttery texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It is cooler and less shimmery than Becca Ipanema Sun, darker and less shimmery than MAC Refined Golden, more golden than MAC Matte Bronze, more golden and less shimmery than MAC Bronze, darker than Urban Decay Bronzed, slightly warmer than Benefit Hoola, and darker and less shimmery than NARS Laguna.

I was a little surprised at this collaboration at first because despite being a gorgeous model and having to wear makeup all the time, I don't think Chrissy Teigen has ever really been known for her involvement with makeup brands, nor has she ever really gone out of her way to show interest in making her mark in the makeup industry (I've followed her through her blog and on Twitter for a long time, and she's always been known for her love of food and travel, her relationship with John Legend, her work as a model and a co-host on Lip Sync Battle, and her totally uncensored and unapologetic sense of humour). But I suppose being a model for so long brings about a lot of knowledge on makeup — and with that, what looks good on different skintones and what she personally likes to see on herself — and who can perfect a summer glow more than a two-time Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue model? Chrissy Teigen has curated one stunning face palette, with the same gorgeous smooth, buttery textures and phenomenal pigmentation that Becca is known for. Whereas the Jaclyn Hill Champagne Collection Face Palette was designed for fair to medium-dark skintones, the shades here are definitely geared more towards the medium to dark complexions. (Of course, those with fairer skintones can wear this palette, but the highlighters will definitely look more like blush toppers than true highlighters, and I would suggest using a light hand with the blush and bronzer to keep them from looking garish or muddy.) Either way, this palette gives the most beautiful sun-kissed glow that also makes skin look smoother and gently sculpted. Dare I say that this is the perfect summer face palette?
