Another filler post until I find more time to take photos and write full posts — this time featuring nail polish! I haven't done as many nail posts here as I used to but you can be sure that, as a nail polish hoarder, I have been changing my nail polish with quite some regularity (though less now that I'm working more) and usually capture my favourites on Instagram, so I thought I'd post them up here. As you can see, I've been a huge fan of layering polishes recently (how can I resist Hard Candy's $4 glitters?). Again, for those who do follow me on Instagram already, I apologize in advance for the re-post.

    Oh, that second combo ---> O__O!!!

    Sometimes I layer nail polish with the thought: 'What would Denise do?' LOL

    Right now I have Illamasqua Facet on but will redo my mani tonight. I recently caved and got three shades from Illamasqua including the blue Raindrops, Facet and that sugary looking glittery pale pink shade from their new limited edition collection. SO not my usual, but it must finally be spring.

      Haha, that was my Frozen-inspired combo, so naturally you would like that one! ;)

      LOL, you should see my nail swatching papers. I put all sorts of combinations until I find one that's like "YES, THAT'S THE ONE."

      THERE'S A BLUE RAINDROPS? I thought there was only grey and pink!!!

      LOL! I had a mini freak out there, 'cause I was like, "HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT A BLUE RAINDROPS?!?!?!?" Phewwwwww.

    So fun! Love them all. What's your secret to removing glitter polish?

      Thanks! I wear glitter polish almost exclusively these days, so to take it off, I use Shiseido cotton pads (the only ones that will hold enough remover to keep nails soaked) with 100% acetone nail polish remover. I soak the pads with remover and then wrap each finger in a separate cotton pad, clench my fingers together in a fist to hold the cotton pads in place (I don't do the aluminum foil thing), and then wait about 5 to 7 minutes (I usually watch a YouTube video). The glitter usually comes right off in one big piece, lol.

    Yep, the second combo is all sorts of rockin', and you KNOW I'm not a big glitter gal! Sometimes it just works, ya know?
