Love, Rihanna is a medium warm golden brown in a satin finish with a metallic copper overspray. When the overspray is blended together with the bronzing powder, it becomes a medium-dark copper-toned tan brown. It has a soft, finely-milled texture, and goes on smoothly and evenly. It has high pigmentation and opaque colour pay-off. It can be layered and blended out easily. It is less shimmery than Refined Golden, darker and more yellow-toned than Golden, and less orange than Give Me Sun! Mineralize Skinfinish Natural.
I'm not huge into bronzers, but this one is actually really gorgeous. I do think it would've been more unique if the copper overspray was actually apart of the powder and went all the way through, but as it is, it's a widely flattering shade with a beautiful velvety texture that blends out really well. It actually reminds me a lot of the Pro Longwear Bronzing Powders that MAC came out with last year. I like that this bronzer works well on all skintones, as it's not too dark so as to look ruddy on fairer skintones and not too light so as to not appear on darker skintones. It's also not too yellow or too orange or too reddened, so it should suit both warmer and cooler undertones. The high pigmentation of this powder also makes it ideal to use as a blush across all skintones. This is a must-have for bronzer fiends or fans of copper or bronze blushes — that is, if you can still get your hands on it.
I actually really like the shade here! Too bad it's probably not available anywhere, lol!
ReplyDeleteYou might actually still be able to find this one! I know it sold out online really quickly, but I know a lot of stores will still have a few in stock. :)
Deletethis shade i think would be a bit too dark for me but it looks great!
ReplyDeleteI think it depends how you put it on! I've been using this as a blush and it's really lovely, like a bronzier version of MAC's Sunbasque blush. :) But if you use a fluffy brush and a light hand, it gives just a nice sunkissed glow all over the face.
